Inspiration 4
Inspiration4 was a historic mission as the first all-civilian journey to space. Launched on September 15, 2021, by SpaceX, the mission included four civilian crew members: Jared Isaacman, Hayley Arceneaux, Dr. Sian Proctor, and Chris Sembroski. This groundbreaking mission aimed to raise awareness and funds (over $200M raised) for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital while demonstrating the capabilities of commercial spaceflight. Over three days, the crew orbited Earth at an altitude of approximately 575 kilometers, conducting scientific research and sharing their experiences to inspire future generations.
